In order to promote the utilisation of wood pellets in Europe a wood pellet handbook has been developed for public use.

The wood pellet handbook is available online in English, Italian and Polish. Existing Austrian, Danish and German handbooks are also promoted via the website.

The PELLETS@LAS wood pellet handbooks contain general and technical information on production, transport, storage and utilisation of pellets as well as market and legislative aspects. The basis for the handbook is the existing Danish wood pellet handbook (Træpillehandbogen, FORCE Technology, 2002), which is a publicly available document. It has been a great success in Denmark and contributed largely to the development of the pellets market in Denmark.
